Privacy Policy
Published and last updated: July 16, 2026
This policy explains how the YoYo Sitar website and the private, owner-operated YoYo Sitar Publishing workflow handle information.
YouTube API Services
YoYo Sitar Publishing uses YouTube API Services to manage authorized content on the official YoYo Sitar YouTube channel. The private workflow can confirm the authenticated channel identity, upload an approved video as private for review, read the upload's status and metadata, add approved thumbnails and captions, and delete a private test upload after the owner explicitly confirms cancellation.
Use of these features is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
API data, purpose, and storage
The workflow may receive and use the following data from YouTube API Services:
- the authenticated YouTube channel ID and channel title;
- video IDs, titles, descriptions, visibility, processing status, duration, thumbnails, and caption-track metadata for videos handled by the workflow; and
- OAuth access and refresh credentials issued by Google.
This data is used only to operate and verify the owner's publishing workflow, including channel-identity checks, approved uploads, duplicate prevention, private review, metadata and media updates, cancellation, and publication verification.
The workflow does not ask for, collect, or store a Google password. Google displays the requested permissions during authorization. OAuth credentials are stored in the operating system's secure credential store and are not placed in the public website, release files, source repository, analytics, or public logs. Non-secret release receipts may retain a YouTube video ID, public URL, status information, source hash, and operation time so the workflow can prevent duplicate uploads and verify authorized actions.
YoYo Sitar does not sell YouTube API data, share it with advertisers, use it to build advertising profiles, or make it available to third-party users. It is used only by the owner for the private YoYo Sitar publishing workflow.
Retention, revocation, and deletion
YouTube API data stored by the workflow is refreshed or deleted within 30 calendar days. OAuth credentials remain in the operating system's secure credential store until the owner revokes access or removes the stored credential.
Access can be revoked from Google's security permissions page. After access is revoked, related YouTube API data stored by the workflow will be deleted as soon as possible and within 30 calendar days.
A request to delete stored user data will be completed as soon as possible and no later than 7 calendar days after the request is received. Deleting data from this workflow does not delete data held by YouTube. YouTube-held videos or account data must be managed through YouTube or YouTube Studio; the workflow deletes a private test video only after explicit cancellation confirmation.
For a privacy question or deletion request, use the YoYo Sitar contact page.
Website embeds and analytics
Public pages may embed videos with the YouTube player or link to YouTube. When a visitor interacts with YouTube content, Google and YouTube may collect information under their own terms and privacy policy. YoYo Sitar uses Plausible Analytics for privacy-friendly aggregate traffic measurement without cookies.
