Masa

Masa is a Tel Aviv band creating original songs where Indian and West African musical traditions meet through ancient string instruments, live performance, and visual storytelling. In a Maariv feature, the group was described as one of the freshest Indo-African acts around — born from a 2016 meeting of five musicians from different worlds in a small rooftop apartment.

That beginning still feels central to the band: not fusion as decoration, but a shared musical language built through friendship, rhythm, strings, and song.
