Makrand Sanon is a versatile percussionist working across tabla, drum kit, djembe, and pakhawaj. His training includes both Pracheen Kala Kendra in Chandigarh and A.R. Rahman's K.M. Music Conservatory in Chennai, giving him a grounding in traditional Indian rhythm alongside a broader contemporary musical language.
That combination shapes a rhythmic voice that can move between classical structure and modern groove without losing clarity, both in live performance and in studio collaboration.
