Short Bio
YoYo Sitar (Yoav Fekete) is a contemporary sitar artist whose music moves between Indian raga, African string influence, improvisation, and modern groove with a sound that feels spacious, rooted, and emotionally direct. Drawing on decades of study, travel, and cross-cultural collaboration, he creates performances that can land as intimate listening experiences or expansive festival sets, always led by the sitar's depth, resonance, and narrative presence. His current work includes solo and collaborative formats alongside a debut EP scheduled for 2026.
